Out of the Loop!

Sorry for the quietness around here lately!  As some of you may already know I have recently moved into my DREAM house, a log cabin on the lake :) and that has kept me pretty busy these past few weeks.  On top of that lil princess came down with the stomach flu just before we moved, then hunny came down with it just after we moved!  It's been an interesting first week here at the log cabin!
But I have been yuccin it up here lately.  I have a garden started, haven't gotten any bounty out of it yet, but have been taking full advantage of my generous neighbors on either side of me who have been sharing their crop with me!  I also recently discovered the orchard not too far away and have been frequenting it for fresh fruits and vegetables as well!
I have some exciting plans going forward with the blog.  I'm going to get away from grocery store matchups and coupons for a while.  I know that the internet is absolutely saturated with websites and blogs devoted to making sure you get the best deal at all your local stores so I kind of feel like I'm re-inventing the wheel by doing that.

As for me I'm going to focus more on DIY and recipes, simple living as well as general frugality.
